Re: A47de behind a 3tc advice wanted
Any luck with this? Cant help re a47de wiring. Im assuming from a 1geu altezza or mark2 etc. There's older autos from 3t and 1g from the 80s though. A42 A43D series which has the kick down cable only i believe. Came behind 3tgte too. Research along the lines of the 80s tt141 corona ta63 celica/carin...

Re: Question Billet Block
Have you reached the limit of the stock block? Or cant find any decent ones.
Curious what power you're getting out of them

Re: Te72 manual swap wiring
The park switch is usually in the gear selector so theres two bigger wires going to it that can be bridged. Im not familiar with the e7 auto wiring but theres often an extension cable running down to the shifter. So you may be able to unplug it up by the heater fan or behind steering column and brid...

Re: Aloha Kakākakākakākakā(engine sounds)hiaka
Aloha and welcome to 3tcgarage. I'm in NZ in the south pacific so not close at all. But knowledgeable in the e7 w58 conversion. I have a 3tgte in an originally auto ke70 coupe. Converted to 2tgeu t50 then 3tgte w57 and a 7.5" ma46 rear. Make a post in the drivetrain forum and we'll help where w...

Re: W58 to 3tc adapter plate
Welcome. Try the PM option as that should notify the poster. Though not everyone has email notifications set on or check in often. Best solution is the oem 3tgte bellhousing. If you can find one. Also the toyota 1G engines have the same bolt pattern but it puts the starter on exhaust side which make...

Re: 3TGTE37
End of an era! Not once have i had a hood fly up. Drags, track and drift. Keep the latch and catch mechanics lubed so nothing is sticking and check the catch has plenty of overlap and it'll be fine. Ive had my ke25 to 180kph and the ke70 coupe to 200kph. Drifting the ke70 at 150kph too so chassis tw...

Re: TT141 3TGTE Corona skidder
I have sold the corona. The te71 hardtop is a long way off. Still sitting in primer requiring panel work and rear suspension welding before paint can be laid. Once i achieve something on it ill do a project thread. But with family, work and property commitments it's very slow going. http://toycrazy....

Re: 3TGTE37
Nice work on the te37. So clean and tidy!
Those 3tg ring lands seem to be the weak link eh. Any detonation and they fail. Good to see some modern internals fitted.
Tuned yet?
The difference from the stock 7psi to 14psi is such a huge wake up for these engines.

Re: 3sgte Hilux
Considering the hilux doesn't have that much weight in the rear, you may find the stock 8" will get you into the 9's without issue. Can buy off the shelf full spool and a wide range of ratios available. Are you doing a multilink diff and wanting better reliability with a bigger diff? You lose p...
