Re: What do you do for a living people?

I work as Production Control at the Tesla factory. Sounds RAD but really isn't the best lol. At least we're helping the planet by lessening emissions. That way we can supe up our cars and run the rich haha

Re: 1982 Corolla wagon TE72

Nice, I always thought only the 83 came with Power Steering. Yeah man L.A. traffic sucks so bad! I would think T50 transmissions aren't too bad to find in SoCal but that's just my assumption. You could always hit up the annual Japanese Classic Car Show and ask people for parts I bet they have a ton ...

Re: 1982 Corolla wagon TE72

Wow nice find. I personally think 82's were the better year for the TE since they came 5 speed but still kept the 3TC. Do you plan to swap your transmission out in the future? Keep us updated and maybe I'll copy your 3TC build when you finish :D The factory roof racks I've only ever seen them on a f...

Hey rolla_rage what's up man! I've met you before at Tesla but I think it was your last week working there sadly haha. I've asked a few Instagram friends of mine to see if they know any for sale locally it seems TE parts are super rare nowadays. Good luck trying to find one at Pick & pull too, I...

Re: Its a shame

It's still there.. just not as active of a community as it was back then. I see a buncha MX73 Cressidas roaming around my area right now looks like they're taking over the classic scene here and yeah the Datsun crew is very much alive here in Northern California. They've even gone and made 8/6 their...

Re: EFI conversion materials needed

Welcome to 3TCGarage, Johnye17! Although it has also crossed my mind before, I don't think I'd have the confidence to pull it off at my own current skill level.. But check this post out where Foxau2 threw on a 2TG EFI on his customer's 3TC. He also reportedly got 30 MPG out of it! http://www.3tcgara...

Re: 1982 T-50 Bellhousing

Hopefully this helps, done a lot of research into T50 and different T series bellhousings. Up to approx August 1981 had 62mm OD x 16mm deep input shaft ball bearing. Then in TE71 after august 1981 had 68mm OD x 16mm ball bearing then changed approx June 1982 to 68mm OD x 18mm roller bearing. The la...
