First, read this! The short answer is, yes, they will work, but not without the proper synching, jetting and tuning. I bought mine from summit racing, it's a little larger still then BRD's. Had to make custom mounts and use the slimmest fan I could find, it clears my main pully by maybe 3/8", a shroud wouldn't fit if I wanted it too :lol:. The cooling system holds over 4 gallons now.

Dual fans will help, but so would a better radiator. Lots of guys stay small on the radiator to save weight and engine bay space, I went the other route. I have a large Griffin radiator in my car, with a single 10" puller fan, behind both the big radiator and AC condenser, it works fine, no mat...

This is all very good information. I guess I never realized the necessity because my setup seems to do well with very few mods. I mean I'm running a single 40 DCOE on a stock mechanical pump with no fuel return or regulator or anything. Runs like a champ! The only complaint I have is if I floor it ...

Just an FYI, I like welding up my own linkages for the webers so I DON'T have to cut the end off! I have had clamp ends, or cable stops, fray the cable over time and then they loosen and come apart while driving down the road. You really should run a return line for all the already listed reasons. I've had trouble with the float bowls overfilling without return lines, even with a pressure regulator!
