this is what i did to plug up egr exhaust ports for 40 cents. oh, also i jbwelded a quarter on the opening on left side of water neck.

The valve train and headwork have been completed. The cause of the problem, i hate to admit, was brd cam + stock 30 year old springs lol. The correct springs were assembled on another head that i removed because it cracked. Live n learn. Thanks for help fellas.

piston/rod swaps
One of my valve springs popped and droped a valve leaving a big hole on piston# 3. Miracle that my cylinder walls were not damaged but the head is trashed. Would it throw off the balance if swap one from another block?

i been trying to register here for the longest but for some reason i was unsuccessful until now. cool, glad im in now. i'll keep this brief. i live in Houston, my Toy project is an 85 corolla SR5 with a 3tc swap. i bought it stock 4 years ago with 118k miles on it for $500 what a blessing. again gla...
