Re: Adding a new weber
Hey, welcome. So what is your problem exactly? The carburetor is independent of the transmission, so installation would be the same I would think. Unless there's something I don't know about the auto's. I mean you'll have to set your idle a little higher, but other than that... Which carburetor are ...

Re: is a fuel return really needed for dual 45dcoe
Ah so I was wrong. So when you set your regulator, do you set it to the volume required by the carbs at WOT? Then the return line is just to send back whatever is not used at anything below WOT correct?

While I'm not an expert, I would suspect that as long as you have a regulator to keep the pressure within tolerable range, you could do without a fuel return. If you were using a mechanical pump you'd probably want one, unless you started having low pressure issues.

Re: Vacuum Leak Woes
The stalling/dieseling kind of sounds like what my '80 Corolla (w/single 40 DCOE) did when I had it jetted incorrectly. Have you messed with jetting at all?

Re: 4 Speed Options?
Well there's the T40. The T50 was just a T40 with a 5th gear tacked on, and some people argue that's why the T50 is rubbish (because it wasn't designed to be a 5 speed from the get-go). I can't say how much power you can push through a T40 though, never really messed with one. Most people go with W-...

What fuel pump are you using? I'm assuming you're going to upgrade to an electric pump?

Re: Te72 front seat options
Yeah, 2 door sedans and 2 door wagons are "long door". As such the doors are not swappable with the 4 door sedans or 4 door wagons "short door" style. Also, I found out the lock switches are in different places while scavenging some "long doors" in a junkyard. Never rea...

Re: Fender mirrors
Good info kid_te72, thanks!
superdevil, did you line them up with the front of the wheel wells, or the notch on the inner fender? Or perhaps you did it another way?

What kind of money did you drop on that EFI setup, if you don't mind me asking?
