True. The efi won't leak as much as a carb setup. Carb setup can be cheap and reliable, but I do think that efi is the way to go as far as consistency and reliability. Although you can make a carb setup work well. ;)

Re: Wheel Wobble?

I did buy the tires used. Quick question, do you think that by looking at the wheels from the top of the fender a good indication of determining if the wheels are aligned? The wheels do point outwards a bit. They sit like this (fender)] / (wheel out a bit)? I'll take a pic of it and post it up so yo...

1987 Merkur XR4ti

I have a 1987 Merkur XR4ti (German Ford) turbo with a 2.3L turbo that I've had around for a couple of years now. My intention was to make this a daily driver, but ended up getting a truck so the Merkur pretty much sits in the drive way. I've bought a few parts with the intention of restoring it, but...

Wheel Wobble?

Hi guys. I just replaced my stock TE72 wheels with a set of aluminum 14x8 celicas. The thing is that now when a drive about 30 mph or more and even when I'm slowing down to a stop, the wheels begin to wobble. It starts to pull side to side. I've had the wheels balanced already. I've never changed th...

Re: efi vs blow thru carb

I've thought about doing this before. This is what I would do, block off the choke system (JB weld will do it), use a nitrophyl float (black one) and a 5 1/8 inch carb hat adaptor so that you can put on a turbonetics hat or any other for that matter. This is what the adaptor looks like http://www.eb...

Re: efi vs blow thru carb

Hi Dj flights, I have a 350 cfm blow thru with stock 3tc intake in the works. I've tried many different combinations like a 600 4010 Holley marine and a 390 cfm Holley and even an eldelbrock with the BRD 4 barrel intake manifold, personally I think that is way overkill. The setup that has worked the...
