I wasn't aware of the different URLs. I was using my previous bookmarks. Cookies, etc. were all ok but using the url you provided (www.toyota3tcgarage.com) did the trick. I am successfully logged in and posting on my computer at home!
Thanks Boblook!

Unable to Log In
Hi all, Am I the only one experiencing a problem where I log in, it says I was 'logged in successfully' and then when the board index loads it becomes evident that I am not logged in? My computer at work was already logged in/cached which is how I am able to make this post but on my PC at home, or a...

Re: Tranny convertion
Ah... hmmm.... that, I can't help with. I just mess around with stock setups. I'm interested to hear/see more on this though!

Re: Automatic transmission
Admittedly, I don't play with the autos much. Are the two trannies the same length? You may have other problems to consider such as driveshaft length and cross member if it is longer. It would bolt up fine on the front end but may not line up with the body. I think the OD makes them taller too. I do...

Re: stock carburetor running too rich?
I second Baldo. Don't overlook the simple and obvious. Check your plugs - if running rich they will likely be pretty fouled up and black. Clean them off or replace them and gap properly. Then check your timing. Double check for any clogged or leaking emissions lines. Even check the EGR (if still pre...

Re: Tranny convertion
Are you swapping bell housings between transmissions of the same kind? Or, are you mating a bell housing to something else? You mentioned an adapter so I'm not sure I understood correctly. If you are just moving a bell housing from one tranny to the other, it would just be, as you said: bell housing...

JNC Alarm Wiring
I figured it out. The wire connection was fine, it was just a matter of using a clean ground connection and going to a solid 12v source. I was initially tapping into a reg/green wire that feeds the clock constant 12v but that wasn't strong enough. Here is the breakdown for anyone needing to do this....

JNC Alarm Wiring -Re: Electrical Question - Wiring an alarm.
Thanks for responding! I'm good with the rest of the alarm. Everything works fine as far as activating, deactivating, alarms being triggered by doors, trunk, etc. I just can't connect the wire from the alarm into the car's parking lights that allows the lights to go off when the alarm is sounding. T...

JNC Alarm Wiring
For anyone who has installed alarms in these old cars what is the best connection point for bridging into the parking lights? On my TE51 it appears that the 12v+ is Green or GreenWhite based on the electrical diagrams I have but it keeps causing fuses to blow out. It doesnt like me going to a park l...
