Re: W58 to 3tc adapter plate
oh - so - tempting. I have a w58 and a 2t -> t50 bell. What clutch parts do you use with this? You use the big fly wheel and pressure plate for 3t, w58 clutch to match. So that would be a T-40 flywheel and pressure plate, with a W58 clutch plate? This is tempting. I still have one of your W-50 adap...

Re: Fuel pump upgrade
I've used the Carter pump in this page for over 6 years in my wagon. It has run with weber downdraft carbs and my current dual 40mm DCOE carbs just fine. You do need to use a regulator, they say you don't, but that is bull, it over flows the carbs if you don't regulate it. I use a Mallory regulator,...

Re: Single Weber 40 DCOE Jetting questions
That's the jetting info I posted on hr.net and here. That single 40 set up listed will treat you well on a stockish motor. I've driven that car year round with just mild adjustments to fuel mixture and idle speed, temperature dependent. Having a big box of jets with 2-3 sizes up and down will help a...

Re: Weber jetting, what I've used that works
This is a great reference, have you done any baseline tunes for the 38? No, I've never used a 38/38. When I got tired of my 32/36's I just decided to go big or go home and get the DCOE's! :D In my wagon with the 2L motor, I only ever got 18-19mpgs in the city, 24-26 highway with the 32/36 and reali...

Re: aluminium radiator te72?
I use this one in my 82 wagon, it is huge, barely fits and you MUST use a skinny electric fan!! The factory fan clutch will not clear. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/gri-1-59201-x This is the fan I used. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pro-67010 It is "small" but I have had zerro issu...

Weber jetting, what I've used that works
So I thought I would write up something to help those who are having trouble with their weber carbs and getting them dialed in. One of my biggest gripes through the last few years has been that although all the directions you will find say to look at and write down what jets are in your carbs, NO ON...
