Re: Weber Carb question
How do you know what parts you have and not know what they mean? You pretty much saying what they are. So think of the carb as having two sides or function. So this is a 32/36. The 32 will be your primary and 36 your secondary. When you are driving the main one you will be using is the primary...

Re: How to tune your carb for more HP?
I will give you my first weber carb trick. They are progressive cabs. Meaning the secondary does not open with vacuum pressure. Look at the back of it and play with the throttle. "Honestly this is almost the slowest car I've driven... barely faster then my 3 cylinder Geo Metro.." These car...

Re: How to tune your carb for more HP?
Maybe it will help if you say that you dont know about carbs that much from the beginning. I dont think you get it. You can put 6 carbs on a car and after you tune them the car will run the same. Again, carbs do not = HP! "I want as much HP as possible without losing drivability." Mustang ...

Re: How to tune your carb for more HP?
Ok dude, if you want the most power out of your engine a dyno is what you are looking for. Why? That will set the carb to the max power of your engine thats capable. If you could just put big jets and air to make HP we will all have 250 gas jets 300 air. The bigger the engine, cam ,intake, spark exh...

Re: How to tune your carb for more HP
Well for your headline it will be to dyno it. Second, what carb are you talking about. Third the car should turn on without that coil in it. So try to turn it so it will be fully open. Then when the car goes on you play with the rest. All that does is control the cold start. Some cars dont use or th...

Re: anyone running A/C ? on 3tc
Im pretty sure anybody that has a/c is running 134a right now. Yes anything can be done with fabrication. It is 2015, I think most of us have seen what can be done to cars. Most of us know that r12 is a thing of the past. So you said what we are asking and wondering again with "Perhaps, though,...

Re: anyone running A/C ? on 3tc
I think he knows he can use a stock compressor guys. He actually has a question that I have wondered myself. Any OTHER compressor that will fit. Upgrade whatever. Its hard to find compressors and if you do they are used or rebuilt. So for a newer car that will fit.

Re: Where to purchase rings, gaskets etc for rebuild
The engine will only be as good as the machine work done to it. So if a 3tc guy is telling you to take it there, do it! Just rent a uhaul pick up. Its better to be safe then sorry. You can also look around for local machine shops. But here is my tip (he he) :? Look for racing mac...

Re: Where/how do I vent my gas tank with 32/36 weber?
Well.......... if you pour gas into any car yes it will fire up now huh. What does that leave you with? The same problem right? So again, remove the hose and crank it. If fuel is not coming out then is the pump. You can crank the car a few times and open the carb cover. If there is no gas then you a...
