How does the truck transmission hold power compared to the SR20 transmission? Same?

Hey guys I'm trying to gather information on any major obstacles for swapping the SR20 engine into my TE27. One of my main concerns is how the transmission fits the trans tunnel, can anyone give me any info on this? Thanks.
