Well, i was going to use these springs('80-'81 TE-72), but it seems they don't fit my Wagon. . .
The TE-72 springs are wider at the top than at the bottom. . . and mine are wide on both sides. . .

What other corolla model spring fit my TE-38. . .? ? ?

The engineering of the springs says it get stiffer when you start cutting it to make it shorter. We run AFCO racing springs available in many lengths, diameters and spring rates.

Wire Diameter,Number of coils and Spring diameter all have a part to play when determining spring rates.

Thicker Wire = stiffer spring

Fewer Coils = stiffer spring

Smaller Coil Diameter = stiffer spring.

Madslammer, We used modified Datsun 240K springs to make 6Kg springs for a xE38.
