82 Corolla Back to "stock" resto project

Post by DangerTaco »

Plans for thid car are to build it as close to stock as possible but with a few upgrades here and there.

Plans are to repaint the fender and replace the jacked up one.
Shine up the stock wheels, buy some beauty rings for it.
Get the seats re-upholstered or swap them for some better ones.
Get new front and rear sway bars to stiffen up the body.
New shocks/springs.
Redo the dash since its cracked and hideous.
Remove the aftermarket engine bits and either swap the stock parts back in or find some aftermarket ones thatll help to keep it Smog compliant.
(Let me know if anyones getting rid of stock parts, can pick up if in NorCal)

These are the only 2 pics i managed to take, been busy with work and cant take better pictures until this weekend.

nice hardtop! The best of luck with it

A nice simple set of Recaro, or Sparco seats would dress it up, as well as provide a nicer driving environment.

pick and pull yards are likely your friend when it comes to getting many of the parts you need...
