2tc turbo street legal Rail..

Post by Aron »

Well I have finally started throwing some money at this thing... My grandfather produced these kits in the 70s and this is on of the only known survivors.. We actually built the car in 91..
Turbo 2tc
Ray Jay snail
SU draw through setup
blow through valve.. no wastegate..
turbo corvair aircleaner
3tc ignition with no vacuum
type 1 trans (68 box) ..welded 3 and 4th ( needs more with more boost.. coming soon )
Plans
weld headlight brackets to beam..
Install front brakes along with a 67 master cylinder
source some 15x9 porsche fuchs for the rear and a 15x6 up front
Install tach..
thinking about going with a holley draw through setup with intercooler and wastegate
Love to source a used 3tc used moroso oil pan
Need to build a breather box
Would love to build a merged turbo manifold
Install some kind of boost retard box
better plug wires
Polish and power coat the crap out of things
Install 59 caddy tails..
ad electric fans for radiator.
Much more that i cant think of right now..
When we engine dyno'd the motor it made 210 crank.. the car weighs roughly 850.. Cant wait till its 300 crank ..Enjoy

Installed a adjustable beam and added drop spring plates the other day..

Woa. Talk about power to weight ratio. Get rid of that nasty camber on the rear and you can put it down to the ground.
