Hey guys,
I'm planning on rebuilding my 2TC over the winter, oh Canada. I currently have golf ball pistons in it and I want to get more power from this engine.
Question 1, what is the compression ratio for these stock pistons?
Question 2, what sort of power would I get from 11:1, 12:1, 13:1 CR pistons, with a mild-ish cam?
I have an MSD 6AL for ignition, OER Racing carbs (45mm) for fueling.

What are you looking for when you are finished? Drag racer, hot street car, road racer...
Ideally you want to match the compression to the camshaft, so asking a compression question, while giving us a vague camshaft variable... will not offer you a great deal of useful answers. What camshafts are you considering (duration and lift)?

I'll be using the car for drifting and lapping days.
The cam I was looking at was the Schnieder 288F cam, Duration (gross): 288 and Valve Lift*: .504"

*Based on 1.4 Rocker Arm Ratio
there isn't a timing card I could find (to verify intake valve closing event)... but 288 duration is going to call for compression above 11 to 1 (in my humble opinion) The Schneider cam lists 3200-7200, so there isn't going to be a lot of low end with this cam.

poorly put together with improper machining, and poorly matched parts... under 100hp, and a dog to drive... With the correct machining, parts and assembly, ~135 whp
