What is interchangeable?

What between the 2t and the 3t are interchangeable? Is the only thing that is different is the block? If I buy a camshaft for a 2t...could I put it in a 3t? Thanks!

All timing components, cam, rods, head stuff is all interchangeable.
You can put a 3t crank in later blocks with the bulges on the sides and early blocks with some grinding. Basically the cranks have a different stroke and the pistons have a different pin height. Other than that. They are the same basic stuff.

water pump motor mounts got to be carful with some valve covers though some fit some don't die to the gasket and it having to much meat on the edge where it rises up from that's one issue I ran into with a 2tc valve cover and a 3tc head but ez fix is get a thin gasket and fit it in the valve cover it should work then
