Hello all, I am now the proud owner of a 1981 Corolla te72. I have a few questions about it though. I was wondering if anyone on here can help me. It has a front end conversion, and i would like to know from what year corolla did the conversion come from. And some general specs of the car. I'm also looking into going down the turbo route, and i haven't found any definitive answer's. parts lists? or the cost? Could someone on here please direct me in the right path. I've done some research and found out a few things, but would like a more solid sense of what to look for and expect. This is not my first venture into the turbo realm, and i'm not afraid to do my research, but the info on these cars is far less than my prelude. I do know i would like to keep the original 3tc engine, since it only has 80k miles. I'd be looking for right around 300-320rwhp. Would i need to do any bottom end work for this? Upgrade valve train? Bigger cam? The videos on youtube have sent my mind spooling! Does anyone on here live around Knoxville TN? I never see old corolla's around here. and it would be awesome to have someone with experience with these cars to bounce questions off of. Thanks for any info. unsure of how to post pictures but i tried .
