changing drums to disc/rotars

Post by kevneverlast »

1980 corolla 1.8 has drum brakes in the back. I am wondering the cheapest easiest way to change the drums to disc/rotars? I'm not trying to weld plates or anything even though I will most likely have to rite. Any info is great and thanks in advance for reading and the info

**IF** you have an AE86 disc brake rear..... then all you need is the proper proportioning valve... also from an AE86.

Um no. I'm serious. Is it that bad that I don't know? Makes it so people who don't know don't want to ask questions out of fear of feeling stupid. Everyone learns new things everyday and learning about cars terms and things has to start somewhere

And we would be able to drop the rear end and just bolt the AE86 rite on? Or do we need to fab some plates?
