Re: Keven's Canadian TE31 build
this post talks about my solution for oem old leaking fuel pumps
as you can see this pump is probably the original one. The diaphragm is messed up over time.
my solution ? if you guys know Rockautoparts , you also know that there are only el cheapos aftermarket pumps OR california spec pumps ''made'' by beck-arnley. I ordered one calif. spec and this is what i got:
''beck-Arnley''

even the TEQ logo is buffed !
but still ... my observations : they all have the very same diaphragm holding component wich is pressed in place.
-order the pump
-open the box
-laugh
-split the pump
-bolt your middle and top section over the new diaphragm section
-put back in place
-have a nice day

I remember this car from some other forums. I'm excited to see where this car is heading!
Re: Keven's Canadian TE31 build
I know the guy got his thread on a couple other forums like Dorikaze, Japanese Nostalgic cars and probably some other too ! I'm in close contact with him, we even live in a 50 km Radius we help each other with our projects but i got to say he's a f***ing brain ! he is building a long stroke 4A-GE with bluetop cranck in a 7a-fe block coupled with Nissan E15ET rods ... a crazy setup indeed but its gonna get rid of a couple of major problems the 4AG has.

Re: Keven's Canadian TE31 build
thanks guy ! i started modding the KE20 rear bumper to fit and ended doing weight reduction due to abusive rust :/ but still it turned out pretty well ! i also bough an AE86 Megan racing exhaust to replace the straw sized oem exhaust
