transmissions
Are there any transmissions out there that would be stronger than the t50 still a 5 speed and would bolt right up to a 3tc?
Re: transmissions
You could mount W50 or w58 transmission in your 3TC engine.
Re: transmissions
But you have to get custom parts for that it dosnt just bolt onto a 3tc
Re: transmissions
Right now its just stock with a weber.

Re: transmissions
Actually with a 1GG/1GF bellhousing, W series transmissions will bolt up. The 1g bell pattern is interchangeable with the 2T/3T. Also, 3TGTE bellhousings work great for mating a W series trans to a T motor, but are harder to find from what I understand.
If you go the 1g route, you may run into small problems like the slave cylinder being next to your exhaust, and you may need to do some cleverness with the pressure plate and flywheel (2C plate, Cressida flywheel I hear works). Also the reverse light, crossmember, driveshaft, speedo input, and starter may need tinkering. Everything but the crossmember should be doable with Toyota parts off the shelf, but some of the Corolla stuff may need to be swapped out for parts from other models.

Re: transmissions
How much is the t50 worth to you? I would definitly be interested in selling it.

And you know it needs rebuilt before it is useful?
