Nice work on the te37. So clean and tidy!
Those 3tg ring lands seem to be the weak link eh. Any detonation and they fail. Good to see some modern internals fitted.
Tuned yet?
The difference from the stock 7psi to 14psi is such a huge wake up for these engines.

Thank you. It’s been a while since I’ve posted. The car is so much more awake with 15psi, the hood/bonnet needs to be secured more than the stock latch, I’m afraid it’ll fly off when I go over 70mph.

For now, it’s street tuned. I’ll have a video ready the next time. It’s running real well. I’m getting it ready for the next owner.

End of an era!
Not once have i had a hood fly up. Drags, track and drift. Keep the latch and catch mechanics lubed so nothing is sticking and check the catch has plenty of overlap and it'll be fine. Ive had my ke25 to 180kph and the ke70 coupe to 200kph. Drifting the ke70 at 150kph too so chassis twisting etc. No probs.
