Did you buy those new? I would make sure they all have the same parts and jets. Take off the spinner nut and take all four jets out for each carb. Make sure they are the same, by doing this you can see if you have to much gas. air, idle jets. Look inside the velocity stacks (we call these "trumpets" just in case somebody was to say that and you dont know what that means) I almost did! Anyways look inside there and check the venturi size. Should be in the middle lower part of the carb. If you cant see it just take them off.
These engines run rich, so I would get a good MSD ignition box, wires and plugs.
As for the tunning...... this will change depending if you have a long runner or a short one. Plus remember you said that you have "some" money left over. If you need 1 part for the carbs, you will need 4. Another thing, if you tune them for a stock engine, once you put the stage 3 cam and hc pistons that means more parts to tune them again.

Toyota1515- Your 3tc is beautiful, hopefully I'll get there, this is a whole new project for me. Majority of my money went into the suspension/wheels, Its finally engine time. I'll be buying my parts from the alfa guy for now on, thank you for the lead.

Baldo- I bought the webers used but they're perfect. The owner was some hardcore race car driver and kept them in mint condition, even cleaned all the fuel and what not out for storage, not a spec of dirt inside them. I already tore it apart, everything matches up. I'll get the msd box later down the line when I get more money, dont need it just yet. Also I know if i change anything, carbs need to be retuned, its a given with carbs lol
