ok new update the trans that I had blew up due to the t50 being a weak trans so guys don't use them the suck anyways bought a w50 and the adapter plate now just need to install it on my lil trokita

hello, do you mind sharing some info. on how you got the 3tc bolted to the 71 hilux? like did you modify the oil and the transmission crossmember as well as the engine mounts?
planning on doing a 3tc/5speed(82 rolla drivetrain) on a 73 toy. hilux

you gotta cut the crossmember in the center top just enough to fit the oil pan then weld a plate back in its place for strength and the mounts are made from the 3tc mounts and hilux mount and weld it together so it will hold. I will post pics for you tomorrow.
