So you delete the bypass hose but keep the other heater hoses. Ok just checking and I forgot about that pinhole. That explains the lack of drag. Your right, Im wrong, thanks for the info.

One heater hose goes out from the water pump neck, and enter the heater core then goes out of the heater core and in thru the back of the head next to the exhaust manifold, the hoses that are cut from the T-stat housing one go from the water pump housing to the T and the other side of the T goes to the intake manifold bottom, ig you use a 2TG Water pump you dont need to plug the Water Pump Housing outlet cuz it dont have one.

Sorta on topic but when I was cleaning all the gunk off my t-stat housing I saw this. Does it serve a special purpose or is it a trip to Walmart for some jb weld?

Time for a little update, I got my egr pipes off. I just cut the tubes off and welded the ends so I could use them for plugs like 73te27 suggested. I also picked up a non egr t-stat housing. I'm sure I'm over thinking this but would regular JB weld on a bolt be enough to plug the EGR port on the front of the head? I was thinking about maybe tapping it and threading the bolt in along with some loctite red. Am I way over thinking this lol?
