duel weber 40 starting issue

 By checking the fuel delivery, do you mean the pump or the actual carb? Enough gas has to be in the carb for it to run. Is the fuel at the same level on both? It would not start pressing the pedal either?

It would not start pressing the pedal either?  When you say all your jets are factory, that means the carbs are new? Venturis might be too big? You picked the worst type of carbs to experiment with. You should of started with 32/36, get used to play with that. Then move up when you understand how they work. It could be lots of things, jets, venturi, pump, gas not going in the carb, new, used, vacuum, gaskets, connected everything back..........  Anybody you know running them?
