Well if I was you I would go in a plenum if it was efi but are you sure its a good vacume sorce due to the butterfly blades being behind the boost what if you have the blades closed will you still recive vacume or will it be positive pressure hopefully I didn't get you confused bc carbs are not my thing the hilux was more easy than you think bro lol

Carlos there is always vacuum there at idle ,but at time of acceleration the vacuum is less to zero
the new bonnet fits like a glove 1"difference on the height (pic.s) first is the new one second the old one

hey I see you have the w series tranny ,,you can weld the starter hump on the left side & the other piece on the right side use the back plate of the engine for reference if the shifter is too far to the front do what I did with the supra shifter plate

Tpr motorsports cut the bellhousing and it fit like a glove the shifter is in the same location my man I had thought I was gunna have to chop it but didn't have to
