brand new alternator still overcharges

the car was over charging before the new alternator now that the new one is in it started doing the same thing went through two batterys it smells like rotten eggs when i drive it for awhile its a 76 corolla te37 need some tips

rotten egg is an defected battery cells ! How old is the battery ?

What do the charge circuit measure loaded and unloaded should be between 12V-14V

Regulator may not be clipping the voltage, supposed to limit voltage to 14.5V + or -.

its my third battery i only had it for three months i think its the voltage regulator

Can he eliminate the voltage regulator?

I had a '80 Mazda GLC with a 12A and the voltage regulator was eliminated cause the alternator had an internal one.

They have installed the later Fc serie 13B alternator is bolt on and internal regulator
