New guy with a '76 Corolla and differential questions!

Hello everyone, just found out about this site. I've used it to read up about suspension setups and you've all been really helpful. I have a 1976 Corolla Deluxe Coupe that is being setup for drift/autocross/general rwd enjoyment. I'm still very new to working on cars, and anything I know is directly from working on this Corolla, so apologies if my question is really noobish. So I just wrapped up my suspension for the most part, T3 coilovers up front with AE86 knuckles, T3 tension rods, new tie rod ends, lowering blocks, and agx dampers in the rear, as well as stripping the entire car and removing bumpers. I got an lsd for free from a friend that supposedly was supposed to fit my car. I got my car up, pulled the axles, and got the old diff case off. I went to slide this new diff on and the bolts did not line up at all. My question is, is the lsd the part inside this large case? Can I just remove those bolts and pull the actual differential out of the case and swap it into the old case or should I just look into identifying and selling this diff/and housing? And if that's the case where should I be looking to get a limited slip? Sorry to ask such a beginner question and thanks in advance for any help I get. Pictured are the car and the new limited slip diff.
