3tc cracked blocks

The 1st engine was bored, crank turned, head job, & t50 trans front bearing modified and engine had some vibration. Lasted over a year
The second engine was kept intact, only changed rings, bearings, freeze plugs & gaskets and had some but less vibration. Lasted about 6 months.
The motor mount was moved to the front of the engines and a plate bolting to all the lower bolts was added on the second engine.
Also I used the same intake with the water channel blocked off on both engines.
Could a slight unbalanced drivetrain and 70+ highway speeds at 3500rpm or the moved motor mount cause blocks to crack ?
I don't see any cracked blocks posted. I read where the 2tc/3tc engines were indestructible workhorses. I think I killed 2 horses.
