Are there any seatbelt options besides trying to find an old set from another corolla? Any universal or other makes that works?

So, I take it no one has tried to replace the seatbelts with something different lol.

I imagine our 30 year old cars have some pretty worn belts.

Maybe something like these?

I'd really like to know myself. My seat belt doesn't seem to lock if I yank on it really fast.

Negative on lifetime warranty from the dealers, guys. There was a time in the early '80's when Toyota would do it, but no mas. Looks like I'm headed to the junkyard.

Never hurts to ask, though!

There are shops that can disassemble your old belts and set them up with new webbing. I plan to do that with my Celica.

Wonder what the cost is on that.

I was able to make a universal seatbelt work, but would much rather have the stock stuff.
