I have an 85 corolla sr5 with a 3tc swap, I hooked the tach wire to the msd output and the tach wont work. Then I hooked it up to the negative on the coil and still wont work. Does anyone know what I need to do to get my stock tach to work?

Hi there

Some tach require you to use of an Tach adapter inline with the ciol and msd

Check msd for the correct adapter
