I know this is an old post but I stumbled upon this while trying to research the correct parts swap my steering linkages in my 73 te27 deluxe. Does anyone have any info on what the correct year of starlet to get the rack/ pinion & Steering column ? Obviously one without power steering. Does anyone know if there is a 80-84 tercel that has a manual rack / pinion ? from the looks of The part linked http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rack-and-Pinion ... vxp=mtrthe Kp61's rack/pinion looks identical , dispite the fact that the part link is for a tercel with power steering. The Only reason i mention the tercel is because I think i might be able to actually locate parts. But here are some other part links to some KP61 parts ive found , Ive emailed them asking some specifics on the parts linked ill have more Info later!
