actually my friend did the putting together but a local machinist messed up my head wich he went out of business no wonder

Mallito if you are using a copper head gasket u need to use hi temp RTV in order to seal the water passages, plus as far as i know your head must have a land to receive the O-ring from the block so it can achieve a proper sealed chamber and the gasket itself lands flat against the block and head with proper clamping force, just saying, paint the head with die blue and torque it down without gasket so it marks exactly where the o rings are around each cylinder then take it to the machine shop to cut the groove.

Those copper gasket work best if you-re not running water true the block ! Head welded running water in the front to the back.

Yea pretty much my block looks like that but I don't want to seal the water jackets cause my car is not full blown race car it's a weekend toy but not for the streets. Thanks guys

Oh okay why not running cosmetic gasket

I remember Eville was running half filled block on E85 so far i knew he didn't had cooling issue

I was told you can't run cometic gaskets with a o ring block
