If you have electrical and tuning knowledge, have you considered using the kr42 7k-eu efi intake and megasquirt or similar ecu? you'll need to give the head ports a bit of a grind to match since the 7k efi has larger square runners, or use a 3k bigport head which is a close match around 30mm diameter. the final result will be much better, more modern and ready for future modification. (boost) :D

4k-eu efi intake also requires the rocker cover because you wont be able to access the oil cap to fill it up. And 4k-eu has extra sensors in the thermostat housing. You definately need to install the green water temp sensor. the brown cold start timer can be omitted if starting is not an issue. (warm weather). The mechanical fuel pump is removed and a blanking plate put over the hole. the Efi starlet has a fuel bowl and pump inside the fuel tank to prevent surge. If you cant source the original efi fuel tank.. i'd recommend setting up a surge tank. otherwise don't drive with less than a 1/4 tank.
