If the Mazda has the AZ6 box , Lexus IS200 J160, I would say the W58 is stronger.

Yeap W58 it is stronger, back in the day guys did W50 swapps on turbo 13b cars when they havent touched the 7's yet so i say it is good for street cars and will outlast the TurboII tranny.

The w50 are vulnerable for fanatic 13b users in Australia.

I don't know who it was but the W50 was also sent to modified the internals like they do with the turbo II with Jerico internals

Can't remember who said that to me back them

It will happen with any tranny behind a powerful turbo 13b engine, they can go as low as low 9's in stock form, same as the turbo 2 tranny but shifts are way better with the W50

In PR there are somme with very light cars that have being in the 7's with highly modified turbo2 tranny's

Why i asked is because the adapter plate 13b to R154 is so expensive

between US $609.41 to $785 for the adapter plus shipping

Is not an race car and the W58 kit is only $270
